Weber Searwood XL pellet grill smoker

The Weber Searwood XL 600 is a large, versatile pellet grill that can smoke brisket low and slow, roast poultry, bake, and sear steaks at temperatures from 180°F to 600°F. Unlike many pellet smokers, Weber’s DirectFlame™ cooking system provides more direct heat across the entire cooking grate, producing better browning, crispier skin, and more noticeable sear marks. Its 36-inch-wide lower grate offers 630 square inches of space, while the upper rack brings the total cooking area to an impressive 972 square inches—enough for approximately 20 burgers or 21 steaks. The Rapid React™ controller heats the grill in about 15 minutes and quickly restores the temperature after the lid is opened. SmokeBoost™ increases smoke flavor during low-temperature cooking.

Other Searwood XL Pellet highlights include:

  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity

  • Weber Connect™ smartphone monitoring and temperature control

The Weber® Searwood™ XL 600 36-inch Wood Pellet Smoker Grill is a strong choice if you want wood-fired flavor, versatile cooking, and extra room for entertaining.

  • Cook more at once: Its 972 square inches of total cooking space, including the upper rack, provide 50% more capacity than the standard Searwood 600—helpful for larger meals and cooking meat alongside side dishes.

  • Smoke, roast, and sear: A 180–600°F temperature range lets you slow-smoke ribs, roast chicken, or turn up the heat for steaks and burgers.

  • More room for browning: DirectFlame™ cooking helps create flavorful sear marks and golden browning.

  • Monitor your cook conveniently: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity work with the Weber Connect® App to let you monitor temperatures, adjust the grill remotely, and receive readiness alerts.

Why choose the XL? The extra cooking space is its biggest advantage. If you regularly host family gatherings or prepare several dishes together, it gives you more flexibility without cooking in as many batches.
