However, model 1501825 uses manual charcoal lighting. It should not be confused with a Performer Deluxe model equipped with Weber’s Touch-N-Go propane-assisted charcoal ignition.
My verdict
The Weber Performer Premium 1501825 is an excellent charcoal grill for someone who loves the flavor and versatility of a Weber kettle but wants generous preparation space and organized storage. Its main drawback is the premium price: the cooking area remains the same as Weber’s less-expensive 22-inch kettles. The extra money primarily buys a more comfortable, convenient and expandable grilling workstation.
